As someone who used to travel to places and even move to places to escape I can't agree more, no matter how excited those things are, a majority of our life is mundane and seemingly boring, one has to end up in no way to escape to realise that.....to learn to be grateful and appreciate the simple things.

I no longer look forward to a foreign escape as much as I used to as I start to truly live my life at the moment ,instead of in the future.
