9 Simple Things You Can Do To Recharge

For when you are not feeling it

There are always times in life when we are feeling down or overwhelmed.

I keep a list of things to do when I get caught up in the moment, and I want to share them with you today.

The idea is to take a mental break and remind yourself that bad vibes are temporary, and there are better things in life to look forward to, which is always the truth:)

So here is my list:

  1. Get up / Stand up
    Yes, get yourself up from your chair/sofa/bed. It does not help to stay in that same bad posture and reminisce about whatever you are on for the entire day.
  2. Do laundry
    Surprisingly this works for most people — Doing these boring chores keeps your hands occupied and gets your body moving. Your mind will take a break too.
  3. Write it down
    Write down everything that you are worried/angry/frustrated about, even the darkest and meanest words. You would feel much better after. Spend some time reading what you wrote when you feel better and it can be funny.
  4. Go for a run
    Just get that dopamine flowing.
  5. Call a friend/mentor
    Call and tell your most trusted person what’s on your mind. The more mature and objective they are the better. You don’t…
